Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how DoubleUp Games ("we", "us") handles information when you play our browser games at doubleup2.com (also available at our previous address, doubleup-games.web.app).

Information we collect

  • Your game account. When you first play, we create an anonymous account for your browser using Google Firebase Authentication. It is identified by a random ID, not by your name. Your coins, lives, boosters, best score and purchase history are stored on our servers (Google Cloud Firestore) under this ID, so your progress is not lost when you close the page.
  • Google sign-in (optional). If you choose Save progress, your anonymous account is linked to your Google account and we receive the email address and basic profile information Google shares. We use your email only to keep your progress on your account and so that our payment partner can send your purchase receipts.
  • Settings on your device. Sound, music and vibration preferences and your current board are kept in your browser's local storage.
  • Purchases. Payments are processed by our payment partner Xsolla under its own privacy policy; we never receive or store your card details. To create an order we share your game account ID, the item you chose, your email address (if you signed in with Google) and your approximate country, so that prices are shown in your local currency. From Xsolla we receive a transaction ID and payment status.
  • Usage analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how the games are played — for example when a game starts, when a reward is claimed or when the shop is opened — together with device and browser information. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar identifiers. You can opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
  • Technical data. Our servers keep standard logs (such as request times and IP addresses) to run the service, prevent cheating and fraud, and fix problems.

How we use information

We use this information to run the games, keep your progress, deliver purchases, prevent cheating and fraud, answer your messages and improve our games. We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies & advertising

We show ads through Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors at www.aboutads.info. See also How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your game account data while your account exists. To have it deleted, email us from the Google account you signed in with, or include your purchase receipt, and we will delete your account data — except transaction records we must keep for accounting or legal reasons.

Children

Our games are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices

You can clear local game data at any time by clearing your browser storage, opt out of personalized ads and analytics using the links above, and ask us for a copy or deletion of your data at dev.doubleup@gmail.com.

We may update this policy; changes are posted on this page with a new date.
