A Physics Merge Puzzle You Play in Your Browser
BounceUp is a merge puzzle with physics. A numbered ball sits at the top of the board. Drag to aim, let go to shoot, and it flies, bounces off the walls and slowly rolls to a stop. There is no gravity, so balls stay where they land.
How the merging works
When two balls with the same number and colour touch they merge into one ball worth double, and one shot can set off a chain of merges. As you play, new odd-coloured balls appear on the board — a small dot shows where the next one will land. An odd-coloured ball only merges with another odd-coloured ball of the same number, so plan your shots around them.
Tips for reading the board
- Watch the small dot before you shoot: it tells you where the next odd-coloured ball will appear.
- Use the dotted aim line, including its first bounce off a wall, to line up two matching balls.
- Keep the board open: the run ends when balls cover most of the board or there are too many of them.
Aiming, step by step
Touch anywhere and drag. The dotted line shows the path of the ball, including its first bounce off a wall. Release to shoot: the ball flies, ricochets off the walls, slows down from friction and stays exactly where it stops. Because there is no gravity, a ball you park in a corner stays there until something knocks into it — reading the ricochet is the whole skill.
Why won't my balls merge?
Two balls merge only when both the number and the colour match. An odd-coloured ball needs another odd-coloured ball of the same number. A fast follow-up shot can keep the same chain going and light up a ×n banner; the banner counts merges, it does not multiply your score.
Lives and saving
You hold up to five lives and each new run costs one. A life comes back on its own every 30 minutes, or you can watch an optional ad or spend coins for a refill. Coins, boosters and your best score are saved automatically; sign in with Google once to keep them across devices.
Good to know
Is there gravity in BounceUp?
No. Balls bounce off all four walls and slow down from friction, then stay exactly where they stop. Reading the ricochet is the whole skill.
