About the game
What is Flip & Glow?
Flip & Glow is a calm logic puzzle about lights. Every tap flips the light you touch and its four neighbours: dark ones glow, glowing ones go dark. Light up the whole board to win, and match the fewest possible moves for three stars. The first levels teach you with a pointing hand; the first twenty have no move limit, so you can experiment freely. After that each level gives you a few spare moves, and new twists arrive as you go: lights that flip their diagonal corners, empty spots, mixed boards, three-step lights that go off, dim, then bright, locked lights you can only flip from around them, and lights that flip a whole row and column. Every board is guaranteed to have a solution. Undo any move, restart whenever you like, and pick your look: Hoi An silk lanterns and glowing pumpkins from the start, Christmas baubles at level 30 and summer fireflies at level 60. New puzzles keep coming, so the game never runs out of levels.
How to play
How to play Flip & Glow
STEP 1
Tap a light
Tapping a light flips it and its four neighbours. Dark lights start to glow and glowing lights go dark.
STEP 2
Light up the whole board
Turn every light on to finish the level. Solve it in the fewest possible moves to earn three stars.
STEP 3
Watch the move limit
From level 21 each level gives you a few spare moves. Run out and you can try again, or watch a short ad for 3 more moves.
STEP 4
Learn the new lights
Later levels add lights that flip their corners, empty spots, three-step lights, locked lights and lights that flip a whole row and column. A short card explains each one the first time.

Good to know
Is Flip & Glow free to play?
Yes. It runs in your browser, with no download and no sign-up.
Does every level have a solution?
Yes. Every board is built from a fully lit board, so it can always be solved, and the game knows the fewest moves needed.
Can I undo a move?
Yes. Undo takes back your last move, and restart sets the level back to its starting board.
How do hints work?
From level 3, the hint button shows the next light to tap after a short ad. When no ad is available the button is locked.
How do I unlock the other themes?
Lantern Night and Pumpkin Night are open from the start. Christmas Lights unlocks at level 30 and Firefly Meadow at level 60.
How many levels are there?
There is no fixed number. Levels grow from gentle to brain-teasing, and a new puzzle is made for every level, so it never runs out.
