Tile Trail
One stroke. Every tile. Find the trail.
Draw one unbroken trail through every tile, then master arrows, double-pass tiles and portals in an ever-growing puzzle trail.
What is Tile Trail?
Tile Trail is a one-stroke puzzle game about finding the only route that covers every tile on the board. Start at the ring, drag through neighbouring tiles and finish at the target without leaving a tile behind. A wrong turn can make a section unreachable, but you can drag back over your recent route to erase it and try another branch. Early levels teach the clean grid; later sets introduce boards with holes, forced-direction arrows, tiles that must be crossed twice, and paired portals. The trail keeps growing beyond its opening difficulty bands, so there is always another puzzle ahead. Every board has a route that works, so a dead end is only ever a wrong turn, never an impossible level.
How to play Tile Trail
Start at the ring
Drag from the start ring to an adjacent tile. The path may only move up, down, left or right.
Cover the whole board
Reach the target only after every available tile has been visited. A tile you leave behind means the puzzle is not finished.
Undo a bad turn
Drag back along your own recent path, or tap Undo, to erase the last steps and try a different route.
Plan the corners
Dead-end corners and narrow strips usually have only one way in and one way out. Work out how the trail passes through them first, then fill the open space.

Tile Trail in action

Good to know
Is Tile Trail free to play?
Yes. It runs in your browser with no download or sign-up.
What do the special tiles do?
Arrows force your next move, double-pass tiles need two crossings, and portals transfer the path to their matching portal. Each rule appears gradually as you progress.
What happens if I get stuck?
You can retrace the path to remove recent steps, or use Undo. A dead end never forces you to restart the whole level.
Can I move diagonally in Tile Trail?
No. The trail moves only up, down, left or right, one neighbouring tile at a time.
Can the trail cross itself?
Only on double-pass tiles, which have to be crossed twice. Every other tile is visited exactly once.
Is there a hint?
Yes. Next to Undo there is a Hint button for when you cannot see the way forward.
What is a good way to start a hard board?
Look at the corners and one-tile-wide strips first. They leave the trail no choice, and once they are fixed the rest of the route usually follows.
